Singer, composer and politician Bappi Lahiri is the recent victim of false news. As per rumours on the social media platform, there are claims made of the singer losing his voice. The iconic figure from the music industry taking to Instagram has rubbished these rumours. Expressing being disheartened with this false piece of news, he confirmed doing well. He added he is perfectly alright with the blessings of his fans and well-wishers. Reacting to singer Shaan too expressed his disappointment over it.

Bappi Lahiri’s Instagram post read, “Disheartening to learn about certain media outlets putting out false reports about me and my health. With the blessings of my fans and wellwishers, I am doing well! Bappida” Shaan’s comment on this post read, “It’s really sickening .. #falsereporting .. don’t know what they gain from this .. just creating panic and confusion” One of the senior singer’s fans was glad the singer addressed the rumours. He commented, “Thank god sir, I was very tensed after listening that news. Ami apna ke khub bhalobashi sir”

Earlier in April 2021, the singer was tested positive for COVID-19, he was hospitalised for precautionary measures. As reported in ETimes, he continues to have some health issues, also he is confined to a wheelchair. The report also carries a lift installed at his Juhu Bungalow for his convenience. His son Bappa Lahiri, who is in the country by his ailing father, has revealed Bappi Lahiri is seeking treatment for his lung issues when he was detected with the virus. Hence, the singer was suggested not to talk during his recovery phase. Hence, onlookers thought he lost his voice.
